Why your student needs a PCP

We encourage all MIT students to choose a primary care provider (PCP) at MIT Health.

Your student’s PCP will be a doctor or nurse practitioner who specializes in internal medicine, family medicine, or adolescent medicine. (MIT students cannot choose a pediatrician as a PCP, even if they are under 18 years old.)

To choose a PCP, your student can take a look at all the MIT Health PCPs who are accepting new patients and make an appointment with anyone who seems like a good fit.
